Dog Boarding

While it would be ideal to have our furry friends with us at all times, there are times in life when it's just not an option. Whether it be vacations, travel sports, family getherings, holidays or medical emergancies,  we offer a safe, clean and loving home for your best friend when you need it.

What makes us different from other boarding places? We know every dog is different. We take the time to meet and assess your dog’s personality and needs and do everything we can to make them comfortable while they are away from you. Your best friend will have loving, positive, individual hands-on attention every day. We truly love and treat every dog like our own when they are with us.

We are a kennel facility meaning your dog has its own private area, which helps your pet feel safer and more comfortable. We have kennels that are strategically placed to minimize visual stimulation for those dogs who might be nervous around other animals, which in turn helps with the overall sound and energy of our space. 😊

For those happy social dogs who love being a part of the action, we offer kennels that are close and visually open to their neighbors.

Our guests get private outdoor potty and play times at a minimum 4 times per day. Our Outdoor gravel run has a secure double fence that is 6 ft high.

We feed all dogs breakfast and dinner unless otherwise requested. Dogs get treats after potty time and goodnight treats before bedtime, if diet allows. (And sometimes, just for being cute.)

We have cameras in our boarding areas so we can always keep an eye on everyone. While we have 24 hour access, we do not offer customer access to cameras at this time.

$30 per dog, per night.

Please Bring:

  • A hard copy of your dog’s up to date vaccine records from your vet showing current rabies, distemper parvo and Bordetella vaccines. You can also have a digital copy emailed to us at doggiedtail@gmail.com

  • Your dog's food. We recommend you supply the regular food your dog eats at home.

  • Any medication your dog may need during his/her visit.

  • Treats, if desired. We do not give raw-hides or any hard treat that may be unsafe in boarding space.

  •

If you do not bring food, we will supply in house food for $4 per day.

Safety is our #1 concern. We provide Kuranda raised beds that are comfortable and chew proof, clean bedding and sanitized rooms every day.  We also provide clean stainless-steel bowls at each feeding. Fresh water is provided in sleeping area.

    * PLEASE NOTE: We do not charge to administer medications.

Pick-up and Drop-off times for boarding during the week are during normal grooming hours, as well as 5:00pm 7 days a week, and 8:00am on Sundays. Holidays might affect these hours, please be sure to call us at (812) 249 7793 to confirm availability and reservations.

Cancellation and “no show” Policy for boarding:

Deposits : During busy times and holidays, we may require a small deposit of $30 to hold your boarding reservation. This deposit holds your spot and helps prevent us from losing income from dogs not showing up without proper notice and the inability to fill those spots last minute.

If cancellation is made 48 hrs (2 days) prior to scheduled reservation drop off date, deposits can be refunded or can be applied to in store credit.  Failure to notify Doggie D’Tail of cancellation 48 hrs (2 days) prior to appointment or “no shows” will forfeit entire deposit. NO EXECPTOINS.

To make a reservation or ask any questions, please call or text us at (812) 249-7793 or email us at doggiedtail@gmail.com. Thank you!
